Iconography in small images.

   I created 5 small sketches of current Formula 1 drivers in order to practice maximising the use of iconography and symbolism within a small scale image. I have created a balance whereby there is enough detail to easily represent the driver but the images are basic enough to work on a small scale and still be immediately recognised. I removed all text and fine detail from the sponsors etc and focused on more obvious signs such as; logos, hair, nationality and ethnicity.
